Leadership

After considering the nature of the office we now consider the qualifications for the office. We see that Paul has in mind present realities in the life of the leader and also the overarching description of “above reproach”.

As Paul moves on in his letter to Timothy he takes time to give instruction about leadership in the church. In this sermon we first look at the office itself and then in the coming weeks we will explore the qualifications of the office. 1 Timothy 3
