In this sermon we look at the first of the beatitudes that Jesus taught. Blessed are the poor in spirit is a strange sounding phrase to our modern ears. However, as we understand what Jesus means, we also see the door into the Kingdom of God and blessed reward that comes to those who learn this quality.
